Multiple EB Katy Fwy lanes at Bunker Hill reopened after deadly crash involving 18-wheeler, HPD says
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- One person is dead after a crash involving an 18-wheeler and another vehicle on Wednesday, according to the Houston Police Department.
Multiple eastbound lanes along the Katy Freeway at Bunker Hill reopened on Wednesday after the crash.
TranStar details show the crash was detected at about 11:41 a.m. and is blocking multiple eastbound lanes.
SkyEye13 was over the scene, showing heavy backups earlier on Wednesday.
As of 3:21 p.m., the crash has cleared, according to TranStar. At this time, it is unknown what caused the crash, or the identity of the person who died.
